Be A Business Warrior

A warrior is…

  • a person who is aggressively, courageously, or energetically involved in an activity.
  • a person who fights in battles and is known for having courage and skill.

To create or grow a business I must be a warrior. As a warrior I aggressively go after my dream every single day. I courageously continue to pursue excellence, ask for the business and push myself beyond what I thought I was capable of. I energetically show up in the world even when I want to stay in bed and I fight for what I want. I continually hone my skills and showing up as courageously as I can every day.

Being a business owner isn’t easy. There are many to worry about – money, failure, people, change. Yet worrying about anyone of those things causes us to lose focus, it robs us of the valuable time we could be spending doing thethings that matter like investing in our clients or finding new ones. Worry zaps our energy – it depletes what we have and makes us more likely to shrink back from the very things that could move the business forward. Worry causes us to live in fear rather than in possibility.

Owning a business is scary – there are lots of things that could go wrong AND there are just as many things that could go right. What if you actually succeed beyond your wildest dreams? What if tomorrow you landed your biggest gig to date? What if you actually did exactly what you set out to do?

Success is possible. It’s possible for you and it’s possible for me. When we set aside worry and fear aside we open the doors to possibility. So instead of worrying about what’s not working or what could go wrong, choose to be a warrior and to fight for your business as if your life depended on it.
